I had to post this for the few hunting fans out there! After waiting 16 long years Bob finally drew a tag for this southern Utah elk hunt! Thanks to his Dad and friends that helped him scout he got a beautiful elk! I am sooo glad that he got the big bull elk he was waiting for! Does anyone eat elk meat?? I think I'll be eating it this year!!

HOLY CANOLY! That is a big elk. Way to go Bobby! Now he can feed all of North Logan for the winter.

Hey Britt--it's Lindsay Turnbull (now Broadbent). I found your blog through Hayley's. So fun to see your darling family! That really is such a huge bull! My husband killed one a couple of years ago and I still have so much meat left! I just look up crock pot recipes and I think cooking it all day takes the gameyness taste out of the meat! BBQing it is always the best! They say that it is suppose to be the healthiest meat there is!
